Has anyone else lost their pictures hosted by eBay, I keep getting people writing to tell me I have no pictures, and auctions closing in 1 hour. No one is going to bid on auctions without pictures! Does the same listing cost refund apply as when eBay is down?

I got no pictures too!!
Checked the Anouncement board and found;
***eBay Picture Services Status***
Some users are experiencing difficulties when attempting to view photos, or upload a photo using eBay Picture Services. We are working with our partner to resolve the situation.
Thank you for your patience.
Regards,
eBay
I must be among the some and have an auction ending within an hour.
Luckily it is a reserve auction!
This is the main reason that I use reserves.

No pictures for me here in Washington St. Was the same over an hour ago. They will probably blame it on the Red Worm!!

There is a variation of the Code Red virious that is not infecting but messing with Win98 computers on line.
it slows win98 online conections down to a crawl many complaints all over the net maily from AOL and cable modem users it kind of like a DOS attack on win98 machines.
You can over you can install zone alarn to make you Ip invisable the problem is this will use up loads of processor resources fending this off as the attacks seem to be at around 140 to 160 perhour and incressing.
also I have some items listed on ebay useing I-pic and getting the red X no I-pic photos showing up..

There have been no pictures on Ebay for over 3 hours--does that mean Ebay will refund our listing fees? The Ebay Technical Staff has apparently abandoned ship because they are not anywhere to be seen on the Technical Issues Board.

Be careful what you wish for. When they have technical problems, you want the people that are suppose to fix them to be in the chat rooms???

I keep my photos on the server I use; I pay a few extra dollars a month for the extra space. My auctions all have photos today. I cleaned my cache just to make certain.
This situation is an example of why I won't use photo hosting services.

Interesting - I relisted an item using the original e-Bay I-PIX photo and added one hosted by AW. The I-Pix does not show but the one hosted by AW shows up perfectly. Also an auction that closed last night with an I-PIX photo does not show either.
