Clear your cache, log out and then go back on.

Nope, that didn't help. Still see nothing but the little red Xs instead of photos.

Image hosting is down. Not the site itself.

I have a question. A friend who is new to selling on ebay just reported to me that none of her pictures in her current auctions are showing, just a big empty box with an icon in the upper left corner. Is this what you all are talking about, too? This has never happened to me, so I don't know how to help her.

My hunch is that it'll all get fixed in a while and one shouldn't panic. Is that good advice to give?

just listed a few things less than half an hour ago in socal. no problems. i did notice on the listing page they mention their photo hosting is down.

roadsmith,

where are your friend's photos being hosted? if they're ipix, they'll no doubt be up again ... uh, whenever ebay fixes what's broke . if not, she should look into her host, or the html in her listings.

kittyx3--She just lists through eBay and whatever their picture service is. (I don't know for sure--is that ipix? I use AW to host my auctions and pix, myself.)

first experienced the problem when I was listing on eBay Germany almost 24 hours ago. Then pics on eBay.com where still okay from here (Germany).
Now anything hosted with IPIX is blank.
Nothing on eBay.de's message board or anywhere (what a surprise) Somebody told me though that eBay was hit by a virus.

roadsmith,

yes, ipix is ebay's hosting. unless her auctions are ending now, she can relax.

Speaking of Ebay problems, has anyone else noticed the EOA notices are running late? Like, half a day?
