We're hosted by Dreamhost -- they have something like 99.9% uptime, and their tech support is superb. I'm not sure how much their basic account costs (we have a large account with multiple domains) but I know their rates are some of the most reasonable around for the quality of service you get.
Their website is at http://dreamhost.com if you want to check 'em out.

have my web site for over a year. $10 a month includes the domain name, 50 mb of space, unlimited email ids and tech support that is second to none. A consultant even got me some great utilities, reviewed my asp code and fixed it, etc. This past Saturday nite when my ISP (not my web site host) went down due to a storm, my web site host lent me one of his accounts so that I could answer my emails. Now that's service! No down time in a year.

Strange as it seems, he doesnt advertise and his personal website has no real info. He is a consultant setting up websites for companies when I mentioned my problems and he set me up. I think I was his first small customer. Since then, I have sent him several of my clients and a number of folks I met here and on the web and he has set them up as well. His site is http://www.shaffren.com but it's like the old saying that the shoemaker's children go barefoot. It really needs work. It's not that he doesnt know how to do it. He helped me out plenty with my site. It's just that he spends so much time helping everybody else, he never got around to doing anything with his own. When I started writing ASP code, I discovered that I needed a Windows server. He switched me from Unix to Windows overnight and set up my new site so quickly, that I didnt even realize it happened except that my ASP code started working. I can't say enough about his service. I just wish I could convince him of the importance of marketing. But he seems to feel he's getting enough people through word of mouth.

I posted this in another thread earlier:
Check out Burlee at www.burlee.com. They have an unlimited plan (unlimited disk space and transfer)with a $19.95 setup fee, and a monthly fee of $12.95 if you pay by the year. If you already have a website and transfer it to them , you get the first month free. They do free search engine submission for all new accounts, offer both Front Page extensions and Unix, and also offer upgrade options ranging all the way up to dedicated servers; if your needs change as you grow, you won't have to move to another host. Their customer support is outstanding, with phone support 9-9 daily and 24 hour e-mail support.
You can check out their ratings on this link:

I use bizland.com, my plan is $5.95 a month for 65 MB, and a bunch of other stuff I don't use. Extreamly reliable, only down once in the past two year so far as i know. There are other more expensive packages that do more also.
