Oh, this is maddening. I've been listing in ebay motors and something went screwy. The listing page wouldn't seem to "remember" my preferences.

Anyway, it changed some things and before I noticed I listed two auctions with the country of origin as Antigua and Barbudo.

Huh? It should automatically be United States unless I change it, right? Plus, I can't fix the error. That's not something that can be changed on revise.

Problem solved!!! If anyone wins the auction, take the item to Antigua and mail it from there.

Now why didn't I think of that? Probably because I haven''t had a real vacation in too long.

Okay, I know Barbados, I know Bermuda. But where on God's green earth is Barbudo? Or does someone need to back away from the Marley CDs?

Well, it is Barbuda, not Barbudo.

I haven't been to either place so you can understand the mistake.

There's even a reverse catch in ebaymotors country (il)logic .......

If you post your location as a foreign country and then apply Sells to US only guess what?

Seller only sells to his named foreign country. Duh.

There are many sales I made with ebay.com applicable to US only targetting appropriate buyers.

I know it's odd but there are foreigners who seek the Just to the US only please.

Point #2 in Futility

eBay censors adult material from all known foreigners.

Why though do we get bombed with half.wit, sorry, half.com spam when it's strictly US only......

aaaaarrrgh

I just listed several auctions and it happened to me - but it put me in ANGUILLA !!

Also the shipping and payment options changed - from listing to listing, very erratic.

So I guess the HS dropout programmers are up to something again .....

Yes! Yesterday when listing, I found that I came from Antigua and Barbuda! And, I also found out that I take Visa! I don't know why I double checked, maybe it was the shark story from the Caribbean? All my preferences were suddenly gone! Be careful out there!

My wife Joy called ebay on this problem and they said sounds like we needed to empty our cache of temporary internet files. We did that and dumped cookies at the same time.

Joy says it's fixed now.
