on bidding that is, this seller had something I really wanted, until I read this:

(IF YOU MAIL ME A CHECK, I WILL MAIL IT BACK). I expect payment within four days of auction closing. If I do not have payment, I will post negative feedback and relist the item. PLEASE DO NOT BID IF YOU DO NOT INTEND TO PURCHASE. THANKS!!

4 days? Seller has left 42 negatives.

Poor guy. Anyone that impatient probably has a miserable life at red lights or a doctor's waiting room.

Threats and unreasonable demands don't attract me as a rule.

>DO NOT BID IF YOU DO NOT INTEND TO PURCHASE<

Anyone think adding that statement really helps????

To me, it looks like an open invitation to NPB's.

Kinda like 'I dare ya'......

WOWOW --- one day to get a MO and three days to be absolutely sure it is in their hands. Makes you wonder what some people are thinking of when I can't get a 1st class letter across town in a week sometimes. I don't know about other cites, but where I am (a major metro area) the mail goes as follows:

1. I put the letter in the mailbox or drop it off at the local post office.
2. Local post office does their thing and bulk trucks it to the area distribution center.
3. Area distribution center bulk ships it to the regional distribution center.
4. Regional distribution center sorts it again, puts it with other bulk mail destined for my area, and bulk trucks it BACK to the area distribution center.
5. Area distribution center sorts it down into smaller zip groupings and trucks it to local post office.
6. Local post office sorts it for carrier delivery.
7. Local carrier finally delivers the 1st class letter across town.

Three days for a local letter to receive local delivery is considered to be outstanding service. Five to seven is the norm and is the reason we put our checks in the mail to pay local bills with 10 days to two weeks in advance -- don't want to be incurring those late fees.

Really makes you wonder when you see auctions like these.
