I had an auction end last night on Ebay. The buyer has an email address that seems to be from AW. It says-- myauctionwatch.com --
I have never seen this before, although it seems that in the past I have heard of emails at AW. Anyway, it does not work. I have sent at least 8 emails to them is everyway I can think to send them and they keep getting returned to me for various reasons. The reasons are not always the same.
Does anyone know if there is something wrong with the email service at auctionwatch at this time?
I sent several emails directly from my email(as I always do), I used my secondary email address at yahoo, I went to the auction itself and used the "send this auction to a friend", and I also used the "ask the seller a question" (I went to one of their auctions to do this.) Nothing works. They all come back.
Strange thing is that I got an email from them. It was sent however through the "ask the seller" from my auction. I hit the reply button and tried to email them that way. No good, it came right back.
I do not have a clue how to get in touch with this person. If any of you could help me, I would really appreciate it.

Well that would explain why it keeps coming back to me!
They are selling right now. How on earth are they doing that without an email addy that works?
This doesn't make a lot of sense.
Did the mail system at AW have an automatic reply system? Because I got an email from her saying--"Hi, my name is ********, if you would send me your address and a total I will send you a check or money order" -- something to that effect, those aren't the exact words. So anyway, I thought if I hit "reply" than it would go to her, but it didn't, it came right back.
I am at a loss as to what to do. Like I said, they are selling and have gotten feedback in the last week. I just can't figure it out.

This sounds really odd. Have you tried clicking on the buyer ID in the auction listing itself to see if a different email address pops up? (If you already did that, my apologies)

It is odd. I have done that. The email they have listed is the one that is obviously no good. I just don't understand how anyone is getting in touch with them at all.
I guess I may have to contact Ebay and see if they can help me.

Can't you pull their full street address and phone number through Ebay? They get sent yours then too, but that should be OK with you, then you can phone them in person.

Have you considered that the person could be an Auctionwatch employee? They still have auctionwatch.com addresses, I think.
