Doing some research here:
With the new school year upon us, I'm curious if students (college, high school) are using online auctions to gear up with the stuff they need in their dorm rooms or wherever.
Also, with those dorm rooms filling up again, are students eager to get back to bidding after the Summer break?
C'mon students -- sound off. Please e-mail me at [email protected] so I can include your comments in my investigation.

i sell to college students and faculty all the time. they usually pay too but i have found that there do seem to be student deadbeats as the semester gets about 2/3 complete...i guess that loan and pel grant $$$$ is all spent by then.

I'm a college student. I use the money I make from selling to pay for rent and groceries and the cc bill so I can keep selling.

Since I sell books, sometimes I get college people (can't tell if they are students or professors really). My only deadbeat was at MIT.

I have many students buying my items...and they have all been great transactions! It really depends on the product you are selling.

This former student used to go for Sci Fi books, instruction books on the computer I was using at the time, and music on tape (no CD player at the time) Also used to look for recent but not new books in my major which was BioChem. That way when I wrote up my labs I had references that the other students didn't have. Made me look like a real digger for info and probably got me more A's than I would like to admit.
