Anyone aware of problems sending email from a Hotmail address to AOL?...I won an auction on 8/19 (Sunday) and haven't heard from the seller, despite having sent him/her two emails already. This wouldn't be a problem, however, we are leaving for vacation tommorrow & if I don't get payment out tonight, it won't go out until Monday....

Rancher, I use Hotmail, and I routinely have trouble getting through to certain AOL users.
My emails aren't returned,, and I'm given no clue that they didn't go through...except a lack of response.
Usually, if I haven't heard anything by the second day, I go into the eBay 'mail this auction to a friend' thingy...works every time!

I am not on hotmail, but I frequently have trouble exchanging emails with AOL'ers. Like gc2, I usually coorespend via eBay's send auction to a friend and that usually gets through.

AOL has had email problems for years--as has most everyone who conducts business on the Web. However AOL's problem is they have never managed to keep pace with their growing user base and the users steadily defect when they realize their needs are not being met.
