capotasto	posted on August 24, 2001 08:13:25 PM I listed an auction on ebay and the listing fee box said this: "$25.01 to $1,000.00 -- $1.255.0% of the initial $25.00 ($1.25), plus 2.5% of the final sale price over $25.00 " WTF is "$1.255.0%" ??? The HS dropout programmers are at it again!!!

litlux	posted on August 25, 2001 06:47:25 AM Three possibilties: The ebay interns are in charge. Since their only proofreader with spelling skills is on vacation this month, their copy and policy statements are coming out all confused. It makes sense to them and nobody else.

I especially expect a statement of fees to be proofread, double-checked and accurate. This is especially puzzling inasmuch as it was correct in the past. What do they do, re-write things for the heck of it in their spare time to see if they can make it "more correct"? Well the opposite is true.
