Is there anything I can do or am I ship out of luck ?????
I recently bought a piece of ham radio equipment from a seller with a feedback of 21. I should have known better, but hay everyone has to start someplace. We were all newbies once. Anyway I paid $96.99 for the item plus shipping for a total of $106.00. Oh and to add insult to injury I paid by money order so I can't even do anything through my credit card company.
Bottom line is the unit is DOA. It doesn’t work. I tried contacting the seller but he is not responding at all to my e-mails. Could be he is out of town for the holidays but I have that sinking feeling this is not the case. He either knew the unit was DOA or bought the equipment to re-sell without testing it first. My assumption was it worked especially for the price. Repairing the unit would be way more than $106.00
While his description doesn’t say anything about a guarantee it does state that it covers certain frequencies and reads certain watts of power output which it doesn’t.
Any suggestions would be welcome or am I ship out of luck ????
Health & happiness
