Sara, I keep getting a page that says my password could not e found , everytime I try to add pics to my eBay auction.. I can log in fine.. click in the pictures.. fill out the auction info.. but then instead of a page saying my pics were succesfully added to my auction , I get the " password could not be found , contact service @auctionwatch.
Please help ., I have a 5 thousand dollar auction going for the past 4 or5 hours with no pics !!!
Thanks in advance.

The eBay System Status Announcements Board at 06:42:55 PDT 09/05/2001
posted the following:
***System Status***

Due to our recent upgrade to our sign in system, some third-party tools may not be working properly. We are working with the vendors to correct this situation as soon as possible.

Thank you for your patience.

Regards,
eBay

This is probably why you can't add your pics.

I think the same thing is happening to those who use Paypal's automatic logo service, too.

For the past 2 days, I've been getting an e-mail from Paypal saying that when they tried to insert the automatic logos in my auctions, ebay tells them that my password is incorrect. I went to the Paypal site and made sure they had the right password and user name, and I got the same message from e-bay.

Why do they have to keep messing with everything!?@

Monkeysuit,,, the exact same thing is happening to me. For the last two days I've received an e-mail from PayPal stating e-Bay wouldn't accept my given password so they can automatically insert the Paypal logo. No matter how many times I go into Paypal and re-enter my info, nothing is accepted. I don't think the problem is with Paypal,,, I think it's e-Bay! Now what? How can I get this straightened out? Any suggestions out there???

Same here re: Paypal logos. I've received the same Paypal e-mail and followed their instructions , to no avail.

Signed into "my ebay" just fine with my username and password.

So does this mean that all listings from AW will be rejected at present? Rats! my one free morning to list...[frown/]

I kept getting script-error messages yesterday evening, around 5p.m. PDT, but put it down to anything from heavy-traffic-timing-out, to pop-ups. maybe it was just eBay warming up for a new functionality wipe-out...Ho Hum...

Hello,

I have been having the same problems and I called Paypal this morning. I was told that this is a E-bay issue and they are working to getting it corrected..

The PayPal rep said that it may take a few days to get it worked out with E-bay. She also said that many people cannot even manually insert the logos.

Think this is a sign of things to come?

Judy
