HI everyone, thanks for all the encouragement, and in some cases discouragement. My first two "fated" auctions ended today. Each sold. On one I made 42 dollars and on the other 85.00. After fees, I guess that will go down--but still, I am soo happy. Still, that was the last time for comptuer-selling on my part. I am posting some clothes tonight!

From 2 sales you are in line to clear over $100
How quickly can you do that selling clothes?
I don't sell computers and while I started out selling small $$ items it's far better to "relax" and offer a $100+ profit deal, especially if you can list it for 30c
The major dilemna sellers face is in wisely buying stock to pitch against the "heavy" opposition.
So a few questions, can you buy better, did your description have all the key words necessary, did you start and close auction at the right price time day etc.
But perhaps all this does is let others review and now jump in upon your success.......

I have to agree with HUMBER2, I'd rather close the $50-150 profit deals then many small deals. It's all right if you can sell mass quantities of the same item for a decent profit... But the nickel & dime stuff tends to get you down.. The reason I took 2 1/2 months off from Ebay this summer, it got boring...
