I had a question concerning Ebud and sending out congratulations. I notice, although we haven’t updated here in a couple weeks we seem to be having problems doing our congratulations. The error messages states that Ebud can't retrieve email address from Ebay so we have to do it manually. We know they are continuously coming out with upgrades, we are just curious if anyone else is having this problem with retrieving email addresses for congratulations. Curious of any input you might have on this. Thank you for your support.

Yes, I had the same problem until I upgraded to 2.83, I believe.
The only place I found to download this version (which I believe they are calling a beta) was on the discussion boards at Auctiva. There's a post by an Auctiva worker that contains the link to download. It wasn't listed by the other updates. That may have changed now, since this was a few days ago.
But at any rate, 2.83 should fix your problem. HTH!

I downloaded the 2.83c version today but it will be tomorrow before I find out if I can retrieve the e-mail addresses after the auction is over. In the meantime, I have pressed the "confirm data" box (individually) on recent auctions and eBud retrieved the e-mails for those auctions.

I downloaded the newest fix 2.83c.
It didn't help one bit.
I'm really mad about it.
I don't like having to manually look up and put in the email addresses. Its a BIG pain.

FWIW I downloaded 2.83 on Tuesday the 11th and it fixed the "retrieve email address" problem and the "retrieve eBay fees" problem. It is Beta <G> after all!

283c is working for me, I am getting emails & leaving feedback. You have to sign in at ebay first though. They are working on a fix for this, but for now just choose sign in from your drop-down menu, once signed in everything works.
