We're thinking of trying the Banner ads.
Just wanted to check and see if there were any PS out there who have already started and may have an idea of how well they are working.

I lost interest pretty quickly when I couldn't immediately discover how much it cost - other than a vague reference to "Starting at $50". Did anyone find out any better numbers?
It sounded like an interesting idea and I was willing to try it. I may yet. Tuesday sort of put a kink in any rational thought processes I might have been having.

It looks like it ranges from $85 for 33,300 impressions up to $550 for 300,000 per month.
It gets cheaper if you purchase 3 months.
It can also be "targeted" to categories for a bit more.

I'm probably in the minority here, but the power sellers who clutter up my screen with even more banner ads are the ones who will never get my business.

Really depends how big you are. We'll be listing 3000 items a week during the Christmas rush and stocking the EBAY store with more. You don't need a lot of click through in order to make money if you have a lot to offer.
The couple of hundred dollars it will cost is a drop in the bucket compared to our monthly income so it is an experiment worth trying.
