Friday is USA Day.... WEAR U.S.A. colors.
Red, White and Blue. Please respect the dress code of your department. Just
wear the USA colors in some fashion. People across the nation are trying
to encourage the entire country to do this.
Along with wearing the U.S. color Americans are encouraged to stand united and show the terrorists that Americans will and do stick together.
FRIDAY, SEPTEMBER 14th is "Flags Across America." All Americans are asked to
display the American flag either in their homes or cars. Let's keep the meaning of UNITED in "United States".

This is spreading across Canada as well and we will stand with you. My understanding is that it is EST but it would be inspiring to see the continent light up as dusk falls in each time zone.

You know the Mods generally try and discourage multiple threads on the same topic. We also generally try and encourage non auction related topics be discussed in the Round Table Forum. Circumstances warrant a bit more leniency at the moment.
Not everyone goes to the RT. We understand the need to connect, to keep people informed of the breaking news. We also understand the need to grieve, to show pride in your country. For at least the next couple of days, we will continue to allow Users to continue these discussion in the EO.
I missed the fact this was a multiple thread but frankly, even if I had caught it earlier, I probably would have left it. There's time enough for business as usual in the coming days.
