I paid for an auction with billpoint, the guy never shipped and now has 67 negs from ripping people off. He used to have over 800 positive (when I bid on his stuff). I paid with credit card through billpoint, how should I go about doing a chargeback on this?? $25 item (pics of Aaliyah)that was going to be shipped first class from Oregon to KY. The seller hasn't responded to e-mails in over a 3 wk time span since I first paid, but he's still around to keep listing auctions. He has batches of them up with bids. I am not used to billpoint, so not sure how to proceed. I have left my neg, figure at least warn potential victims away from this person.

You need to call your CC company and/or bank.
They'll inform you on how to proceed with a CC payment dispute.

He now has 73 negs from people he's ripped off. Here's the neg he left for me in retaliation (the same thing he has been leaving for the 72 others):

[b]BEWARE - SAYS FALSE THINGS - ITEM WAS SHIPPED BY HELP. BEWARE !!!!![b]

If I wasn't out so much $$$ I'd be laughing over his originality.

I just looked up this guy's name with google.com, and he's got lots of fraud complaints logged against him going years back.

From now on I will either buy from AW sellers only or do a trace on the seller with www.google.com before buying an auction. I guess I'll have to ask for a seller's name via ask question feature to accomplish this??
