I posted a BIN auction for a digital camera(sony FD91) and it sold within hours. The initial contact was made and she said she would have a money order sent out. This was last Sunday. Now it has been a week and nothing, I have emailed her several times and have gotten no reply. Oh something else on her she has no feedback!
When you do a BIN isn't there more of an obligation to pay UP?
This is my first non-paying bidder "dead-beat".
Also, I know she alive because she has kept bidding on other auctions as the days have progressed.

Send a last email to her stating that if you don't here from her by a specific date/time that you will consider the auction null & void and that and that time you will apply to eBay for a refund of your FVF. Then block her from ever bidding on one of your auctions again.

We all would prefer to be paid ASAP. That is part of the popularity of PayPal and Billpoint.
However, a new person might not be so comfortable with the whole process. If it takes a day or two to get a money order and a day or two to mail it, and a couple of days for it to get to you, before you know it 10-14 days have passed.
My advice is be PATIENT. I would never label someone a DEADBEAT after 7 days.

Since she did make initial contact and said a MO was being mailed, I sure would give it another 5 days or so.
It is the ones that NEVER contact you despite many emails that worry me. I've got one right now on an auction that ended September 10 and she has never answered any emails, NPB alerts, email through Ebay, etc.
Also had one that ended last Sunday and got no replies to ANY emails I sent, notices from Ebay etc. Today I get an email saying he had been on vacation! My TOS is that payment needs to be postmarked within 5 business days of end of auction, so he's really pushing it here. In fact, he's actually past it.
Hang in a few more days. If it was a lot of money you could even pull contact information and give them a call.

My general rule is to give them 10 business days to pay, then I file a NPBN.
Then I give them 7 more days (not 7 business days, but 1 actual week), and then I file for a FVFC and leave a neg.
7 days is not a deadbeat. Remember, the auction ended on Sunday, so they have had only 6 mailing days to purchase the money order, get it in the mail, and have it arrive in your hands. Give them til Friday at least.

How far is the payment traveling? I just received a payment from California to Ohio, and it took 8 business days.
