Was just browsing for a few Christmas presents, and saw a great deal, now I know why. Payment is due within 6 days! I did a double take on that one! I tend to not bid on the 7 day ones right now, because my experiences tell me that the mail is still running a wee bit slow.
Before long payment is going to be due within seconds of auctions closing!

I ask everyone to pay before they actually bid. Then when the auction is over I refund the non winners within 30 days.

My husband just got a neutral that said "paid but late" because it was due in 7 days. He won it on a Saturday(8th) evening and mailed payment on the Monday(10th) morning after. The guy didn't get it until Wednesday the 19th. The neutral appeared on the 17th. He didn't accept paypal or billpoint either. Isn't that sad?
I guess the seller your husband bought from doesn't realize that the WTC towers being obliterated along with thousands of victims, caused a temporary halt in the mail, thereby ensuring that his/her little "schedule" was sure to be disrupted.

I state in all mt auctions "Contact must be made within 72 hours or auction is void. Payment must be received within 10 days or auction is void." This is to protect me as a seller, if I had no time limit I would be obligated to "hold" that item until till that payment came. I do not count the days, if a buyer keeps in contact I am very flexable. The mail is VERY slow everywhere right now...
