In August, we sent you an email to inform you that we were implementing new security measures, because we had reason to believe that some Ecount account information may have been inappropriately accessed.

That is simply not possible, because Ecount does not and never has stored credit card information.
We want to be perfectly clear: It is Ecount information-- such as your old Ecount account information, name, and address-- not credit card information, which may have been accessed last August. Rest assured, you’re at no financial risk. In fact, any Ecount information that may have been accessed is now invalid, since we immediately blocked and reissued new account numbers. And our 100% guarantee policy ensures that your Ecount dollars are safe.
If you receive an email like the one described above, please ignore the erroneous message. Now more than ever, Ecount will stand up to those who threaten us. And we know you’ll understand that we’re sending this message because we believe in proactively communicating with our customers. Your security and trust remain our top priority.
