Ebay is doing it again with a new checkout feature to start in mid October. After reading the tutorial about it, it will defiantely cause some problems. Thye say it will be listed on auction pages even if you opt not to use it. This is another way to just confuse buyers. I like the personal end of auction notices myself and so do my buyers. My question is, does anyone know if this will affect my listing through Auctionwatch and will the checkout feature appear on my listings ? Can I state in my auctions to potential buyers "Do not use Checkout Feature"

Hello Sandy. The checkout feature WILL appear on your auction page even if you don't use it. Also, your customers will think that you didn't include the price for shipping in your auction or any info on a return policy if you have such a policy. Check out this link, it shows what the auction page will look like if you DON'T use the checkout feature:

Thank you Blanche, I had already viewed all of what you suggested in your post. do you think I should just mention in my listings that I will not be using this feature so that potential buyers will know that they won't be getting that end of auction checkout notice. As I see it it is just one more hassle to deal with.
