dunno what vrane does,or did but i can guess it is the same old story-losing money and cant find any sugar daddy to foot the bills.
anyone wants free this and free that??

Please give more info on where to find that information - I know they are down but hadn't heard they were gone forever! I have over 500 relist credits with them still...

Someone just posted in the other Vrane thread that their automated emails are STILL going out - so that means its not gone gone yet.. I'm still hoping its just major server trouble.. *crossfingers*
I'll be watching these boards closely, there is little interest/info elsewhere.
I could find nothing on Ebay's message boards saying vrane was gone for good.

Everyone settle down and give them a day or two. As someone posted in another thread, photopoint went off the air for a day or two and came back just fine. If they only have one server and it crashed, there's not much they can do in the way of notifying anyone about it.

I would not be surprised if they did go under. Any normal company would have posted a message, or emailed their customers and none was done. If it isnt up by Wednesday, or if we hear nothing from them me and my seller friends will request a refund for our remaining credits. It takes only seconds to post a simple message.

It appears that Vrane is back up and running. I only use Vrane for counters, but I was finally able to login as a seller today. Unfortunately, all my counters are gone, but I could definitely get into where they should have been. If you check their site status section, it explains that it was the result of a new firewall and being understaffed over the holiday weekend. Having just gone through a firewall update where I work, I understand what sort of headaches that can cause.

I also noticed the Vrane counters are appearing in my auctions again - but they are messed up. One item that I know had 100+ pageviews now shows only 14. Oh well, hopefully the counters are fixed for the future.
