Is it just me or does anyone else find it impossible to change or revise an auction on ebay?

I used to have this problem. But then someone here told me to be patient. Really, wait 2-3 MINUTES between the clicking of each page. No kinding! 2-3 MINUTES, it works for me.
Hope you do not have a lot to revise!

Are you using IE or Netscape? If you are using IE, try using Netscape instead.

Unbelievable isn't it!

It only takes a few seconds with a cable modem.
Relisting auctions but really listing a different item is a super pain, especially if you use their free photo and change categories.

I have a cable modem, and I have been having trouble as well. Sometimes it works, but mostly it does not. I will have to try waiting too!

I have a cable modem as well, and I have to use the 2 or 3 minute wait to get the revision through. I am so glad someone shared that a month or two back.
As far as netscape goes, I have an older computer and when I tried to install it the computer just freezes so gave up on that one.

I always wait the 2-3 minutes and open another browser window to do other things at the same time but will try with netscape from now on.
The big question is why in the world should we have to wait. Why can't ebay get it together on this one.

OMG... why would you wait 2-3 minutes on Internet Explorer? Installing Netscape 4.7x is not going to hose your system. Make sure you do a custom install with Navigator as your only option. Don't install any of the other stuff like RealPlayer, AIM, Composer, etc.

I am not normally a netscape fan, but I just had my hisband install a bare bones version of it, and it works like a charm! My problem was that I use Baypal, and they are unable to put apostropes in the titles when the auction launch, some kind of problem with their system. It makes a huge difference when the search gets pulled up, so I needed to revise my titles badly!

Hi
Wow! I had trouble and kept clicking and clicking until it worked. Maybe it took the 2-3 minutes to grab it or something.
Thank for the hint.

I have a DSL service and the only thing that works for me as far as REVISING is the 2-3 minute wait.
Relisting is never a problem as I use AW to do that.

Relisting has been a problem for quite a while. Some things you can try -
*Use Netscape instead if IE
*Go to the Australia ebaY site and do your relists from there

http://pages.ebay.com.au/search/items/search_seller.html
*Use a third party relist service such as Vrane.Com

Hi everyone,
I've been trying to revise some of my auctions with no luck! this is the error I receive
An Internal Error has occurred
Please try again. If this message persists please report this problem to Customer Support.
I've been reading the tips on this board, the waiting a few minutes doesn't seem to work for me, I'm also using netscape because I know that IE won't work.
Does anyone have any other tips to share??
Meanwhile I might just give Ebay a quick email on this problem.
Thanks
Sue
