It's gone now. The page it was coming from exceeded it data transfer allocation.

A little hack job in the morning. What fun!
Wonder what they will come up with next?

Oh, and good morning tokemom!

this is good news for competitors such as budville and epier and more, ebay will find out it will be losing some of their better heeled bidders.
many so called practical items on ebay are remainders and remanufactured items, used and worn and floor samples,i have seen people selling their worn shoes and clothes,it attract a certain clientele.

Someone managed to insert this animated gif into the header of some eBay forum threads:

At least twice that I saw. A good trick, I'm impressed.

this was the url to the pic that was there. Evidentally ebay got yahoo to delete the user id, because it's no longer valid. lol

Awesome! Did you see it now?
Says:

[i]"Hey eBay!
I will not use checkout, and you can't make me."

Hey sellers!
Don't want to use checkout?
Then learn layers and block it yourself.

all you need is a little creativity.

What amazed me was that they managed to erase ALL the eBay header...except for the search box. The point the hacker was making, was that anybody could get rid of eBay's Checkout form, if they didn't want it in their auction. That it was easy, using layers. Yeah, easy for them to say...

I think that's what disturbed Mother eBay. I do wish I knew how they did that...

the reason it keeps disappearing and reappearing is because ebay keeps removing it and this guy is putting it back. He's online right now!

Finally got to see it! How are they doing it? I can see being able to do it on your own auctions, but how are they putting that message up on eBay itself & hiding eBay's banner?
