Ok I went ahead and have printed out the free delivery confirmation
Dumb question here
I have not been to the P.O. yet with these, but can I cut off the bottom small part where it says: Electronic Rate Approved #xxxxxxx ?
I know it say do not tape over that, and I haven't, but that small section below the bar code, seems to make the label too big on some packages.
And just to mention, I have asked at 2 Post Offices before about this, and they have both told me no, you have to use e-stamp or whatever it is, to get this free? But what I read on the page, it doesn't say that at all. So I hope they let me use them, and not charge me for them.

NO---you don't have to use E-Stamp to get the free Delivery Confirmation.
Just take it to the Post Office and they should treat it like any other priority package that you need basic postage for. They don't need to scan it as your computer entry and printing of the label acts as the 1st scan.
