I will try to make a long story short... I just got an email from Qwest that they are merging with MSN, so by NOV. 5th,I have to change my email address and all that goes with it to MSN. Here is my problem...
I use Netsape for my email and love it. I have a cable modem through COX@home for my desktop. However, I use my laptop for all my auction business. If I switch to MSN I have to use IE and Outlook express for my email. I have used this in the past, and got a virus on my laptop, even with virus software. I want to use netscape as my browser. I have all my bookmarks, my email files, etc, etc...
Does anyone have any ideas what I should do. I have my cable modem on my desktop, I access most of my email there, but I need a dial up account for my laptop, for my auctions and for traveling. Do you know any services that support Netscape? I DON'T want to use Outlook, and I want to keep Netscape. ANY sugguestions would be MUCH appreciated! I can see how this weekend will be spent!

Have you ever had any trouble with you hotmail? My Mom used it for a short time and she had so much trouble. She couldn't reply to email, and had problems receiving. And it's funny, I called MSN, and they said I couldn't use Netscape to get my email. So much for tech support!
I haven't had too much trouble with my mail. A couple weeks ago it was running slow (mail wouldn't show up for 2 days or so) but other than that, nothing much.
I've had BIG trouble with so many other services (mail.com, lycos, netzero, excite) that a little slowdown is nothing.
As far as tech support goes, I think you just asked them the wrong question. If you had said can I access Hotmail through Netscape they would have to say yes.
They service has been okay. And they have free 24 hour support.
