I bought a designer little girl's dress at a garage sale last summer for $2.00, checked the listings on that particular brand and half of them had NO bids, the rest of them were at 5-10 dollars. I went ahead and listed it, and thought, what the heck. My auctions haven't been doing real great, but I've got to get rid of some of this junk! I checked today, and the bidding is up to $26.00!!!!!! There is still 1 day +6 hours left on it too! I about keeled over!!!!!!!!

I nkow that this is small peanuts to some, but with business having been rather slow, I am ECSTATIC!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Good Fortune to all of you too!

The dress is a Laura Ashley. I knew it was worth more than $2.00!

Looks like things are really picking up in my category. Listed a batch Sunday night and all have bids but two auctions! Almost all have multiple bids with strong page views. VERY ENCOURAGING!!!!!! I honestly feel that business is really coming around again and I know I will be swamped at Christmas this year. I can just feel it!

Good luck to everyone............

Has anyone ever considered that we are just a bunch of manic-depressives?

One minute we are ready to throw in the towel because sales are "down" and the next we are doing happy dances and are procliming it is going to be a "good Christmas season".

I'm a happy camper too. I bought a game for 50 cents at a church sale. It sold by BIN almost immediately for $40. Who'd a thunk it?<br>MAD

cin131, other sellers could take a lesson from you. Your auction ad is clear, concise and informative. I think your picture is excellent. Your TOS is very clear, but not threatening.

Great Job!! Good luck on your future auctions.

Amy, I have to say that in the 2 years I have been here posting only two or three times have I laughed out loud at a post. This time ~if I would have had a beverage ~ I would have spewed all over my monitor! Manic depressives! YES!!!!You hit the nail on the head with that one!

igolf, Thanks! And I even use ipix! Although, I have to admit, that was one of my better pictures. And I must agree, we are (or at least sound like) a bunch of manic depressives!

It appears that things are picking up, so I'm heading out today to look for more merchandise!

Still Dancin'!!!
