Hi, I am wondering if someone can help me with Half.com. I have starting listing some books but sometimes I have a book that doesn't show up on title search or ISBN search. If the book isn't in their database how do you list it? Thanx in advance!

Hi, If you can't find your book by doing an ISBN, Title, UPC, or search by author, you can't list it.
Half.com has a link on their site where you can supposedly send them the information about the book and they will see that it gets into their database "SOON." I've been doing that for 6 months and have yet to see one listed.
My advice - if you can't list it, it's either put it up at auction or into your next garage sale.
Good luck with Half.com. I've had extremely good results from it.

Thanx so much for the info! Now I know its not me just being to dumb to figure it out. I love selling on Half! It is so much faster than listing the books on ebay. Thanx again!

If you can't find it on half.com, you might try Amazon Marketplace. I had a friend give me a bunch of old children's books, and what I couldn't find in one place, I found in the other to list.
Have sold a grand total of 1 out of all of those books, but its another option.

while we're on the topic of halfdot, how do ya'll price? low, mid range or high? and if you do price in the upper areas, if there are multiple listings for a particular book or video, do you find folks will click to see all listings, or just tend to choose from the three or four on the primary page?

You can list the book in the Everything Else category if you want. The book will come up in searches, although not in any book category.

eSeller004, I wasn't aware of that! But, I wonder how many sell that way? I have a ton of old books I've been unable to list at Half for that very reason...
