I am going to try and put on another picture. Can anyone give me any ideas on this decanter and 3 classes, roses appear to be etched into the glass.

Hi again Amber
You did it! Your pictures look good.
If you do a search on ebay for Bohemian decanter you will be able to see some others like this. Some sell for higher prices than others and it depends on the week and the bidders like anything else.
The cranberry color is pretty so it may bring a bit more if you put the color in the title.

Any help on how I describe this decanter? Would it be right to say craberry etched glass? Any help would be appreciated, my knowledge of glass is very poor, I ususally deal in craft items and English china!

Amber, my field of glass in Early-to-Mid century American Glass, so you may be able to tell me "pfffff!". However, I believe your glass decanter to be 1950's American dept store or gift shop glass. Not esp. valuable or wanted. It is NOT cranberry which is something else entirely. Sigh.

Amber, it isn't cranberry glass (which is much more desirable) but it would be helpful to have the cranberry color in the title as many collectors do like that color.
Also there are people who collect items with roses so you could put that in the title also. Maybe something along the lines of "Bohemian cranberry color decanter set w/ etched roses".
I agree with Kiawok and Glassperson that these sets aren't in great demand and yours is missing some of the glasses but you may still do okay with it. Just two glasses could make it a bridal set (third glass for the visiting mother-in-law).

Since it isn't my item it is difficult for me to advise what to start it at.
Consider how much you have invested in it and what your expectations will be. Check the other listings on ebay and also the closed auctions to see how others listed and what their starting prices were and you may get some ideas.
It is like all other things that are iffy, you list and take your chances.
