...when they don't want to bid early!

I've got an item on right now that if there isn't an opening bid by morning, I'm considering taking to the antique shop that I sell out of, where I will mark it up 40% and still sell it (less 10% customer discount and 4% Mall commission of course).

Thank you for letting me b*%ch.

if it will bring more in the mall why list it on ebay ?

keep in mind some folks (like me ) see the item figure there max and go to esnipe to bid There is a item like that now ,10 day auction , 3 days left opening bid of 50.00 no bid s at this point
On the first day I went to esnipe and bid 150.00 and 'I think there is a fair chance of my being outsniped.

as they say it ain't over till its over

ebay is a place where dealers sell to dealers, everyone wants the lowest price possible.
i know a cruise ship company filed for bankruptcy today, but there is also a restaurant chain as well, does anyone know what it is?
they dont fly, they dont eat, they dont bid,so what do they do??
i am afraid after deafulting on car loan and cc loan, they will be defaulting on their house mortgage.

Well, I like listing good items on ebay. I was thinking I would get the opening bid fast, then get more bids, rather than marking it up and perhaps taking longer to sell out of a mall.

But it could sell the first day I take it into the mall too. Stranger things have happened. Once I sold over $900 in one day at the mall. My best day ever out of there.

maybe i should take another look at malls when i was in one last most items didn't bring much and the folks running the mall were looking for volume ie: low prices from the dealers --- this was pre ebay.
I can relate to your complaint I just checked my actions and my wifes and we have two bids between us .
I do have faith that things won't end that way though.

That day I sold over $900 was an extra special day for sure. It would be hard to duplicate that (I mean it would be hard for me to duplicate that--maybe someone else does it regularly). I sold several items that day, with a couple of high dollar pieces in the mix.
