I can shot myself.

I have been listing some denim shirts with fall scenes embroidered on them. And they did better then I thought they would.

Now, I found some more in with my Christmas clothing! (Don't ask how) I think it is too late in the season to list them.

What do you think?

My husband posted many sweaters with
Little trees and stuff on them,
They didnt do fabulously well,
But they sold...Post them at the minimum you need and see what will happened,
Some people just might like the detail...

Here in FL we haven't even had a hint of the cooler weather or that fall is even upon us yet. You might do well with buyers in the south.

I agree -- I am in Georgia, and our forecast for next week is in the 80s -- ugh!! I am wearing fall colors now, but certainly not fall fabrics (when I was a little girl in Alabama we called them "dark cottons", so I would think denim shirts with a fall theme would do very well in the South. Certainly through Thanksgiving, after which, come hell or high water or high temps, we Southerners forsake our comfort and haul out the Christmas wear, no matter how hot and itchy it is. Good luck on your auctions!!

Same here my wife sells fall clothes here year around (Consigment shop). The south has milder climates and fall weight clothes sell good all year here. You may not have as many bids so protect your investments with Min. Bids. hope this helps!!

I live in Georgia and it's pretty darn cold here right now. 30's at night and 70's during the day. I haven't yet brought out my heavy duty clothes, but am wearing long sleeves every day!

Bring out the denims, they wear well through the spring for a lot of folks. Also, people buying presents for others may like the fall theme. It's not even Halloween yet! Winter doesn't start til December. You have plenty of time.

Cool but not cold in Wisconsin yet. I would try and list them with a 5 day auction with a BIN and maybe PayPal only and that will get the shirts to your buyers in 7 days. I love it when I sell a BIN to a PayPal payer. I get it out of my house quick and the buyer gets it very fast, like 3 days after payment and both of us are happy.

Just curious -- who put the smiley in my previous message? It sure wasn't me. I don't think I authorized that little winking thing in place of my close parenthesis. I'm not trying to be a jerk, but I do think it's creepy that someone is editing my post without my knowledge ...

chopstix,

No-one is editing your posts. The combination of certain keys can result in smiley faces, frowning faces, etc.

Thought I'd best edit & give some examples.

= colon + right parentheses

Is that only on AW? I've never noticed that happening with anything else I've written. What if the little winky thing or the smiley or whatever doesn't match what you're saying but just appears because you have hit a certain combination of keys? Wouldn't that result in the printed equivalent of having an inappropriate expression on your face while saying something?
