I have seen a few posts about people getting NARU'd. What does it stand for or what does it mean. I know it has something to do with multiple screen names but that's about it.

Thanks

It stands for Not A Registered User. You will occassionally see this when looking at bidders or sellers on ebay. It means, in general terms, that the person has been suspended for one reason or another (or voluntarily asked to be removed from the system) and the general consensus is ebay's list of reasons is about 44 pages single spaced fine print. Lately ebay has been coming up with all kinds of new ways to suspend users, whether justified or not.

It doesn't have anything to do with multiple screen names. It means:

No Longer A Registered User

NARU has nothing to do with multiple id's.

N = Not
A = a
R = Registered
U = User

The ebay person is not longer registered, therefore they can not bid, leave feedback, sell, or anything else.

One may request from ebay to be NARU or ebay may make them a NARU becuase of too many negs, too many FVF request against them or any reason they want.

Glad I could help.

Thank all of you for the quick replies. I thought it had something to do with multiple ID's because the poster had bid on her own item to get her alt. email address. Thanks for the information.
