If you have multiple identical items, and sell one on ebay, can you use the "relist" option to list the auction again to hopefully sell the second item? (and save having to generate all that info again). Or is "relist" only for auctions without winners? I realize I'll get charged the fees, just trying to save time.

Thanks, sorry is this is a remedial question!

I relisted a sold item, and the user gave me a negative because he thought I was reselling his item and not selling it to him. Watch out for crackpots.

I was left a neutral becouse I relisted a set of glasses before the high bidder received the set.
I had 6 sets.

I would email the high bidder and let them know you are relisting becouse of multiple items just to be safe

I freind of mine has a statement in his TOS to this effect.....Please do not get upset if the item you won is relisted as we often have multiples of the same item
spock here......

I relist from sold items at least 40-50 times a week and have NEVER had a problem. It makes life much easier.

for 4 plus years i have used the relist function as a template for my auctions....i create templates say for items having the similar characteristic and use them constantly....never had anyone say anything....including ebay....no matter what, ebay gets their fees even on the relists; they have some type of mechanism programmed in to determine if it is truly a relist or a new auction....never a prob
