I am not going to use this Checkout thing, I prefer to do things the way I do now...MY way
I want to change my TOS to state that I'd appreciate if the bidder would wait for me to email them after the auction is over (I usually email within the hour if not less) that I am not using the Checkout feature. good way to word this help please! I don't take Billpoint, I don't want to take Billpoint and I want to email my bidders.

I have read some fantastic suggestions about wording at the Ebay boards. The ones I liked did not bash the Checkout system,(although I really want to, my buyers don't understand or give a hoot). Something to the effect of: Please feel free to skip Ebay's Checkout system, as I will be emailing you personally with all of the info you need. OR I do not use Ebay's new Checkout system because I prefer to deal with you directly; you can expect an email from me within 2 hours of auction close.
I like the way those make Ebay's Checkout system seem impersonal and cold.
Only problem is that most buyers (at least most of mine) completely ignore my TOS, and when they see that HUGE gray button telling them they should CHECKOUT NOW, they will probably think they are doing what they are supposed to....

Can the sellers that use AW to list auctions put the TOS information in the area that says additional information? I would like to add. "At this time I am not taking the eBay checkout service. My EOA notice will be sent to you within 4 hours. If you don't here from me please read my about me page for additional instructions." How does that sound. I must have had my head in the sand because I only heard from the grapevine that this was going to happen. Then I listed a BIN and there it was. Surprise, Surprise.
