I've been selling in the antique/collectible categories since mid 1997. I generally only list from November to April. Major snow in North Dakota and upper Minnesota today, some record breaking. Okay, so it's two lower populated states; HOWEVER, I think colder weather helps with eBay sales. I can't believe I'm looking for colder, snowier weather! Actually, January has been consistently the best month for me. Anyone else see a similiar effect of weather on their eBay sales? (Disclaimer: I'm thinking positive that there won't be problems with the economy and postal delivery and that sales will be somewhat "normal" when mentioning the effect of the weather)

I could see a correlation between the two. People are indoors more during bad weather, so they are at the computer more, and buying things more. Also helps that the holidays are during winter too. Fewer vacations, etc. All adds up.
