Checkout is not in any of my auctions, not even the five I just listed this morning. I wonder if I'm special? I have the Mr. Lister codes and eMail my batches to eBay; wonder if that's why? Also, it seems that new auctions listed from eBay international sites don't have checkout either.

There is nothing in my active auctions that indicates Checkout is available--but guess what, when those auctions end the nasty button will be there for all the world to see.
Check your own auctions by attempting to revise an auction without a bid. I did this and found to my dismay that the checkout section was fully operational on the "revise your item" page. To me, this means the checkout will show up when the auction ends.
I tried to revise the auction to include a big "Ignore the checkout" type notice in my auction, and I also tried to fill in the section that will appear on the actual check-out form with an explanation to the winning bidder to please wait for my own EOA. I know a lot of folks report problems making revisions, but I never have trouble--EXCEPT when I attempted to do this, both times the revision failed with a bogus reason that I had not entered a starting bid price. WTF???? OF course I had a starting bid price. Repeated attempts to submit the revisions resulted in the same error message.
To make a long story short, I was able to work around to get what I wanted into my auctions by first revising to include my "please ignore" notice in the description, and then revising again to fill in the box the high bidder will see if they click on the checkout button.
What a pain! Thank heavens my auction management system has updated so that all auctions I list from now on will automatically have my preferences in these matters included.
