Hi, anybody have any experience with the Endicia Dymo printer to print postage. Is it better than using your own printer.

Me three. Come on people. I just asked about this on otwa yesterday. I'd like to get this printer but dont want to shell out $275 unless I get some good recommendations from others using it.

Is anyone using the Dymo with Endica? I am really interested in signing up for Endica but I would like to know if anyone is using it with the Dymo Label Writer and what they think.

I use the DYMO Labelwriter EL60, and completely love it and use it with Endicia (also used it with stamps.com until I moved over to Endicia).
We loved it so much when we needed a new one for another station, we bought the TURBO one (the one that is purple tinted) and it blows away the EL60. Though I just use the EL60.
Labels are expensive if you buy them locally, but get them on the net (can't mention names don't want to be considered promoting someone's site) and buy a couple of rolls at a time and its nearly cheaper than sheet labels.
I would put a RECOMMEND on the product. I have had it for over a year and it has done a really good job.

I have been using the Dymo EL60 for a few months now and I am very satisfied. The speed is so much faster than using a regular printer, and you don't have to futz around with templates, printing partial sheets, etc, etc. It just zaps out, stick on, move on.
The labels can be found for less than $10/roll at a certain dotcom where you can buy a whole variety of computer items. That's about 6-7¢ per label set which is competitive with buying the 6up sheet labels. And, the EL60 has no consumables like ink tanks.
It's not for everyone, but if you are considering starting up with Endicia, the deal they are offering is pretty good.
