Can you have 2 selling Id's on Ebay that sell the same product?

Yes.
But you can't bid on anything the other ID is selling, and vice-versa, even if the 2 ID's are husband and wife or whatever. If you live under the same roof, it's considered shill-bidding and not permitted.

Oh shoot..they fixed the problem so I'll edit out this portion. Wouldn't make sense now.

You can have as many as your little heart, email & credit cards desire. In fact, with the new, kindler, gentler link policy, you can even refer to them now in your auctions (not that you would want to if they are selling the same thing..but you can).
