I have some copper molds that I thought were fake "copper" because the inside was silver, but looking on ebay, I see that many copper molds were lined with tin.

Is there a simple test to determine if something is copper?

mist with a mixture of salt and water...leave exposed to air on a porch or patio for 3 days.....


if it turns green....pretty good odds!!!

LEMON rub a lemon on it ...if it turns gold is't copper
