I sell more than I buy on Ebay and for the first time I'm having a problem with the seller.
Auction ended 9/28.
Seller emailed info and I went through Andale checkout, told seller I was mailing a check.
I mailed the check on 10/9. I did let the seller know payment was delayed.
I emailed seller 10/15 to see if my payment had arrived.
Seller replied same day yes they had received it.
The check cleared my account 10/16.
I emailed seller 10/27 to see if item was mailed. The Andale checkout status does not show payment received or item shipped. No response from seller.
I emailed them again yesterday. I've been polite in my emails but I'm starting to worry. I don't want to hound the seller for my item. I've never had this happen. The seller has total feedback 1179-1208 positives, 23 neutrals and 30 negatives. There are a few comments for slow shipping.
What would you do?

In my buying experience, when a shipment is slow AND there is more than a couple of feedbacks about slow shipping......odds are
you have become ANOTHER one of the trusting souls that will wait!
My last "slow shipping seller" had a similar FB profile to yours and sure enough.....SIX WEEKS was what it took! Most likely it will be the last auction I bid on with more than 2 or 3 complaints about slow shipping.
I often wonder how many buyers didn't bother to tell what happened with THEIR transaction, and what the seller's profile SHOULD really show?

In order to know whether something has happened at the sellers end.... maybe he or she is or isn't getting your email inquiries.......I would send them card through BlueMountain.com......check the box on this egreeting card to have BlueMountain show that your card has been picked up by the seller.....Within the card put the message you have been trying to get an answer to all along......at least this way you will know if he is getting your messages and has ignored all of them or if something has happened and he isn't able to respond for some reason. Might be a good place to start.....I love this means of sending messages.....at least I get notice that they are getting the emails and I have gotten such good results when I allow them to know that I get confirmation on when they pick up their card.....seems like I hear right back from them at that point!

I called the seller yesterday morning and left a message on their machine. I also sent a greeting card. At what point do I give up or go through Square Trade??
Any pointers would be great.
