I realize this has been posted probably numerous times, but I have been out of the country for over a week, and I launched items starting last Sunday through AW and didn't realize this checkout thing was going to start already. Most of my items have bids already, so I can't revise them, and don't know how to get rid of this checkout thing if I do revise them. I have a pile of mail sitting in front of me and don't want to spend all day reading posts (sorry if that seems lazy). Seems like all Hell broke loose since I was gone - people saying goodbye, people posting that auctions are ending with no shipping listing. HELP! I use AW WBN, and with 90% of my auctions I list shipping choices with different amounts (UPS, media rate, first class etc.) so listing a fixed price in a checkout isn't feasible. Can someone tell me what's going on? When my auctions start ending on Sunday what will happen to them? I had someone monitoring my email while I was gone and told them to just delete any emails from ebay thinking they would be "listing confirmations" and would take up too much space on my yahoo account so I don't have any notices from them about how to delete this checkout thing (although from reading the posts I don't think you can anyway). Thanks in advance for saving me a lot of time and headache today.

You cannot delete Checkout.
You could go into each of your auctions and add a note to them asking your high bidders not to use Checkout, which might help if you don't want to use this new ebay feature.
At the end of the auction, the buyer will have the option to click on the checkout button. If you have not specified any Checkout details, you should merely receive an email from the buyer asking for a total ... note I said should. Some sellers have been reporting that buyers have been paying for items but not including shipping, or paying by methods that the seller does not accept.
eBay made some changes to the Checkout feature yesterday. Perhaps you should read those over and see if you want to try to use Checkout:
In general, I am not opposed to the idea of Checkout, but I pay a fee each month to use Auctionworks as my Auction Manager. Currently, Auctionworks is not fully integrated with Checkout, so if my buyer would use Checkout I would have to manually re-enter all their information into my Auctionworks system ... and the buyer will receive about six emails for the transaction, some from Checkout, some from Auctionworks, and in the end, of course, some from me trying to straighten it all out. When Auctionworks fixes their program so that it can automatically collect the Checkout information then I most likely will be using Checkout.
