While in my world of dumpster diving I came across these items. #1. Black Satin Sash like the beauty pagent winner is given and it has a Playboy Patch on it and it says Customer Service Bunny. #2. Along with it are a pair of green satin Bunny Ears, with no logo on them. They don't look new, infact I have to get the sash dry cleaned, bunny ears are in great shape. Anyone know anything about them? I am hoping they are real. I have been to a playboy club but can't remember the color of the ears. Of course no bunny tail.

OK, I'm NOT an expert, BUT it Sounds Like you "might" have some authentic items. What city did you find these in, Did they Have a "Key" Club there?? You might try Playboy.com they might be able to give you a Web Site that specializes in collectibles. If you have the real McKoys, you probably have some valuable items, GOOD LUCK!!

If they haven't already emptied the dumpster, I'd dive in again and try to locate the tail. With a complete set, if you can't sell it for a bundle on Ebay, you could always blackmail someone
The light at the end of the tunnel will turn out to be an oncoming train.

Well I live in S.E. Wisconsin and yes there was a key club in Chicago. There were some other interesting things like a pair of adult ballet slippers and adult tap shoes, but no tail. Oh yes there was a playboy from the 60's in there also. I think I will have to look and see what is in there maybe that will give me a hint. I know the male name but not the maiden name of the wife, well now have to see what is in that playboy. There is a beautiful Vargas Print in the book. Isn't it fun to dumpster Dive. lol.

How about a Playboy magazine signed by the centerfold featured in the magazine? Worth anything? I got it at a bookshow appearance. Any insight?

Yes, a Playboy mag signed by the Playmate is worth something, the question as always is "how much?"
As with anything, it's a matter of supply and demand. Some Playmates were more popular than others, so some will have a higher demand. On the supply side of the equation, some Playmates make public appearances and sign autographs as often as possible, while others quickly retire from their 15-minutes of fame thus making autographs harder to come by. Still others who grow to fame outside of the Playboy niche can be more valuable because they're more popular and sign less. And as with any autograph, death tends to raise the value. I believe Dorothy Stratten, who was murdered at a young age, is particularly valuable due to the paucity of autographs available and the circumstances of her death.
As usual, just check ebay's closed auctions to see what they're going for. Then look for webpages of autograph dealers and see what they're asking for it. Many autograph dealers have entire sections devoted to Playboy autographs.

computerboy-go to playboy.com and there they have an auction site. Also there is an area where they list the playmates in the order of their popularity. I found nothing in the 1972 playboy magazine that I had so I guess I will clean the sash and put it on ebay. Thanks everyone.

there was a page and a half article on Playboy items in my Antique Weekly paper last week. A complete Bunny costume is worth $8,000.00.
I would put up the sash with the bunny ears and see what happens. I imagine different colors of costume designated the position in the club. ie. hostess=green, waitress=pink, manager=black, etc. (I don't know, just my guess).

Sorry I didn't get back to you sooner, but with working and christmas this is the first time I had a chance. Thanks for the information, it sounds good. Can I buy the Antique Weekly at a magazine store? I would like to read the article. Happy Holidays
