on your preferences page, about halfway down, you will see a list of seller preferences, click on update checkout preferences. that is where you opt out of checkout for any future auctions you list.

hope this helps.

I COPIED MY PREFERENCE PAGE AND PASTED IT HERE.. THIS IS ALLI HAVE..Save my customized layout on each page of My eBay:
Yes No
Save the opening page in My eBay to:
Bidding/Watching Selling Favorites Accounts Feedback Preferences/Set-up
Save the number of items appearing in tables to:
25 50 75 100 200
(Applies to Items I've Bid On, Items I've Won, Items I'm Selling, Items I've Sold and Feedback tables)
I clicked on checkout update, and it takes me right back to the above..Nowhere does it have anything about checkout..I know this is crazy.Maybe Ebay didnt get to me yet..

Click on 'my ebay' at the top of any page. It should bring you to a page that has these titles across the top:

Bidding/ Watching Selling Favorites Accounts Feedback Preferences/ Set-Up All

From those titles you next click on Preferences/ Set-Up and it should bring you to another page.

On that page you will see Personal Information. Under that you will see sellers preferences and right under that you will see Update Checkout Preferences

When you click on it you will have to sign in again. Then it should bring you to the page with your name and address and the Yes or No option.

Kiara Thank you sooo much for your help. I printed out what you told me to do,and followed it correctly. I clicked on update preferences, and had to sign in again. i never got a page with my name and address, or the yes or no option. the page just has my ebay preferences on it. When I click on that it takes me to the preferences I wrote above..I know this is crazy, and its driving me crazy. I just dont have it.

wow, that is strange. when i click on checkout update, i am prompted to sign in again, then i get just checkout information on a page.

the top line is checkout yes/no and under that are spaces to fill in my contact info if i opt for checkout.

Hi Painss, When turning off checkout first became available, I was instructed to go to my Ebay, go to my selling page on the right under all the seller related tabs, there is a place that says seller related links, another option, then under that checkout options, there is where I was told to go, I did and it worked for mew, maybe you shoud try accessing it from that page.
