I'm starting to get a "nobody loves me..guess I'll go eat worms" feeling. I am a small volume seller with over 300 positives in about a year..no negs..no neutrals. I'm confident that the few items I sold in the past month were good and described well and certainly nobody paid more than they should have for anything so I don't think it's a buyer's remorse issue. To be more accurate, it's been "bargain time" for them. Haven't had feedback from the sellers I bought from recently either. Prompt payment and feedback was left for them. Are people just too busy?

I haven't been able to leave feedback for two months because of some technical difficulties. I contacted ebay and they gave me the run around. So I contacted Meg and she's got the ball rolling on fixing it.

I've been getting feedback but a few unusual one's. One neutral said, "Haven't recieved payment." Well, I'm the seller and I haven't received his payment, he says he forgot to send it. Reading his feedback he often sends damaged goods and doesn't refund, so he is quite the character.

Another buyer left me a neutral saying I should use a paypal link in checkout.
Another buyer neged me because he says I promised to send pictures and didn't. Says I'm unethical. My listing simply said send me email for more pics. That is for bidders before they buy, not after. There was a red flag so I'll take the neg in exchange for less headache.

These weird newbies come in streaks.

Slow feedback is not uncommon. Hang in there. I am still trying for my red star, but I don't list so much and it just takes longer. Averaging about 50-60% is normal. Much less on Half: about 25%.

Hi quickdraw29....Oh my gosh, maybe I should be counting my blessings with no feedback after reading your post. That's some strange stuff for sure.

This month I'm getting about 25% feeback recived, other months it is 99%, so I guess the Holiday season has people too busy.

Buyers are busy. I have had no problems with feedback. There may be a couple that didn't leave feedback but feedback isn't that important to me. I try and leave feedback when I receive their payment but a few times I have forgot. I finally realize it when I go into my feedback to leave feedback for buyers and see one that I haven't left. I immediately leave that feedback but then I email the buyer and say I am sorry that it was so late.

Feedback is slow for me also but I think it's because of the holiday season. I absolutely love Ebays' 90 day feedback reminder. I average about 300-400 auctions per month now and the reminder when I view my feedback is a blessing. I no longer have to keep track myself. The feedback option on AW is also quite good. I can keep track of my auctions with their form and it helps a bunch.

Don't know if this will help, but I make an ebay tracking slip that goes on my books so that there is a physical tag to go along with Auction Mgr's online stuff. I pack each book in a plastic book bag which goes into bubblepack envelope. The top half of the tracking slip gets taped onto the book bag and is a reminder for feedback a very brief thanks along with the ebay item no. This reminder has plastic tape on it and I figure some people use them to paste on their monitor screen, since they're teeny.

I know after I started putting these on my shipments, it improved the amount feedback but I don't/didn't keep track of the ratios.

The bottom half of the tracking slip, BTW, gets taped onto the outside of the bubble pack envelope, which comes back from the post office with me after I ship, standing as MY reminder to tidy up the online bookkeeping.

Hi

I send feedback and never wait for the buyer to send it first. I let the feedbacks fall where they may.
