OK, now that it IS Free Listing Day, how long are folks running their auctions:

o Do you set 3 days to have it end this weekend?

o Or the standard 7 to end next Thursday?

o Or are you forking up the extra 10 cents to have it end next Sunday?

If anyone can describe advantages/disadvantages to these approaches, I'd certainly like to hear it.

That is, if you can spend some time away from launching your auctions all day.

//ps//

As of 12:42 pm EST Comics went from just over 60,000 to over 64,000.

For the typical high-quality good stuff we sell all the time on eBay, we're putting them up for 10 days. Ten cents is still a 60% discount over their usual fee.

For the "junk" that didn't sell all year, we put a bottom dollar price and list it for the free 7 days. Doesn't cost us anything and it might sell.

Items that we have multiples of, I will list on the 3 day auction in addition to the 10 days. These would only be items that usually sell with buy-it-now. I wouldn't count on a lot of actual "bidding" going on this weekend.

Good Luck!
