Ok, I was not thinking about AW having launching problem with the extra listing going on. Most of my items are schedule for the evening ( now I no that will be a problem time for sure! )

I just did a few launch now. 10 minutes in processing already.

I have about 160 items schedule to launch. Most of them are at 7:00 PM. Do you thing they will make it to ebay by 7:30 or should I change them to be say 5:00 to have a 7:00 launching time.
Ebay is so slow. I am trying to list. It took over 10 minutes and nothing was happening. I think I will give up for awhile and try later. This bites!

As of 12:42 pm EST Comics was just over 64,000.

As of 2:52 pm EST Comics was just under 70,000.

Yeah, it is very slow...

AW is slow - I've been in processing for quite some time.

If you want a 7:30 start time, I'd launch no later than 5:30 - if they are 10 day auctions, 5:30 wouldn't be a bad end time if magic occurred.

If you look at the Services Forum though, it doesn't look like AW has magic up their sleeves this time.

Yes, it's slow -- but AW keeps messing up on me also, saying we don't have an account and wanting us to open one! First time having problems with AW and I'm really bummed - can't get out the front door! Everything really must be on overload all over the place! Good luck everyone, and Happy Holidays!

trippys that happened to me a bit earlier too at the end of a subit - it went through just fine and I haven't had a problem since.

Can anyone tell me the average time it is taking these auctions to move from processing?

When I used the AW launcher when it was free, it was still somewhat slow in listing. It was never real time. Remember that FLD will have a surge of listing that I would never expect any service to have the capacity to handle. Because if they did have the capacity it would be waste 90% of the tiem for the rest of the year.

Hi there,

Just wanted to pop in and let you know that we are no longer seeing launch latency - eBay was able to make some configurations to their API which is allowing much more timely response from our system.

Thank you for your patience!

So it picked up and then it's probably going to slow down again.

eBay Comics are zooming (sorta like the stock market in 1999)

As of 8:57 pm EST Comics was at 82,500.

That's a 30% increase in one day - and it's not over yet!

So I figured that spreading the auctions out over more than one hour would help - NOT.

Now they are all in processing.

As of 10:57 pm EST Comics was just over 87,000.

Just tried something, took any item descriptions I had ready that will only require one PHOTO (I haven't taken them yet sigh). Put them in MISTER LISTER, sent my collection, approvied, BAM not 5 seconds later, the items were listed, COME on AW, I don't like doing this.

Jon,
I've had auctions stuck in processing for almost 2 hours now. I went on Ebay and relist a couple of auctions there with no problem, no time delay.....they went right through. So it really wasn't free because on the ones I launched on Ebay I have to pay AW image hosting.

How many of you are concerned with the closing time of your auctions? If your auctions don't get launched until 11:55 PM that's when they will close on the day you choose. Does this matter to anyone?

I'm considering canceling the auctions that are stuck in processing because of the lateness of the auction close time.

Curious if anyone else has thought of this?

It's not really too late.. I'm not so worried about LATENESS. This is dumb, they should have this up & running, my first batch went thru NO problem, but now the rest are STUCK.. And of course w/o the MODS around, we have NO IDEA what's really going on..

There's been at least 1 thread under auctionwatchpro locked that was related to the stuck in processing. Makes you wonder why they are locking threads on this.

And no there were no unruly comments going on in the locked thread.

Well, I'm having about 2 to 3 per every 5 minutes, pop out of the LONG processing line, with much more than a hundred behind them. Getting prepared to change my password at Midnite eBay time, to bring a halt to this 'drag your fingernails across the blackboard' drawn out process..........

Yippy,

One auction finally slipped thru after being on hold for over 3 hours... The rest are of course still PROCESSING...

They need someone in here addressing this ISSUE. If we can launch directly to EBAY there souldn't be a problem w/ AW.

Earlier today everything was stuck. Then they opening the gates. I thought GREAT, smooth sailing! Was I wrong. My 6:00 launch is still processing.

My question is Will AW reimburse the fees if not launched by midnight?

I asked them that earlier today, well deciding if I should go throught my 163 auctions and hit launch now or leave them to launch as scheduled. When the gates opened, I decided to leave them. BIG MISTAKE!
To think, I did not want my auction closing when people were at work. Now, the will be asleep!

I am sitting here sweating on the auctions going up. It is 105F in the shade, and that's in the house.

AW says everything is fine and dandy, huh? I have a few auctions scheduled and they've been processing for over 2 hours now! I launched one directly through eBay and it went through instantly!

If you have not seen it yet, there is a message on the auction watch anoucnements that auctions not fully launched by midnight will be all be cancelled.

So much for any free listing day, using AW.

Could this finally be the end to AW? I do not know I was asking people who use the service. I bailed even before they started charging because I was un happy.

I have been exactly where you have been on FLD. So is everyone so upset they will quit now. Is that all AW is is an easy launch?

Looking for your opinion.

WHAT!!!! I THOUGHT THE MODERATORS PACKED THEIR BAGS AND LEFT????? THEY ARE BACK AGAIN???? THEY HATE MY SIMPLE CAPS WRITING. I AM YELLING AT NO ONE, IT'S JUST SIMPLE. LIKE AN AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION, NO SHIFTING. WHAT ABOUT THE CREDIT CARD GAME THEY DID JUST BEFORE THEY WERE ALL LET GO BY AW. I NEVER GAVE THEM MY CREDIT CARD NUMBER SO HOWS COME I AM ABLE TO DO THIS?????? HAHAHAHAH. THE MOD SQUAD HAD HUNDREDS RUN OVER TO THAT CANADIAN PLACE. (I CAN'T SAY IT FOR FEAR OF BEING BEATIN' IN THE DUNGEON.) HAPPY HOLIDAYS TO ONE AND ALL.

I WOULD LIKE TO KNOW IF AUCTIONWATCH IS GOING TO REFUND ALL AW LISTING FEES FOR THIER SCREW UP?

I CERTAINLY DON'T EXPECT TO REAP THE REWARDS OF FREE LISTING DAY SINCE A GOOD PORTION OF MY AUCTIONS END WHEN MOST OF MY CUSTOMER BASE IS IN BED.

WHAT I FIND TO BE THE MOST FRUSTRATING POINT OF VIEW IS THIS:

I RECEIVED BETTER SERVICE WHEN AUCTIONWATCH WAS FREE.

The several EXTREMELY FRUSTRATING episodes that I have expereienced since becoming a paying member are much more extreme than the ease of what is provided.

I am curious to know how many people paid $200 upfront versus the pay-as-you-go plan? I would also be curious to know how many people will resubscribe when the year is up?

Just my $0.02 worth...

All of my items eventually launched. Auction end times are approximately one to two hours after when I would normally close them (but I had scheduled them to start an hour or two before I normally would).

As of 8:08 am (day after FLD) Comics has 107485 listings.

Amazing volume.

Now the big question is: are there enough buyers out there to make all of this worthwhile?
