I've never seen an auction like this before. Ebay item #1680311477. I wonder how long it will stay before they end it??

Did you look really close at her feedback? I think the seller and buyer are about even in the whacko department!!!!
She definitely goes on my bidder block list!!

I guess it will run until someone reports it. Maybe the seller's boyfriend bought her a cheap knock-off and she wanted to get rid of it or maybe she really thought it was legit. Amazing what people will spend money on but to each their own.

In the running for an Oscar in the category of "Most Creative Use" for ebay that ebay never envisioned. Right in there with the guy charging $195 shipping on the fussbol table being auctioned off for a penny. ;0

Hmmm......I just noticed she is running 7 of the auctions and someone has bid on one. It is sitting at $0.10.

I wonder what she is going to do when she gets the bill from ebay. Yes, it is FLD but not for Featured and Featured Plus. The 70 cents for the 10 day auctions is nothing but doesn't the Feature and Feature plus stuff cost some real money?

Yes, this seller has gone over the edge. Did you read the remarks she put on all of her feedback since she got the 2 negs? She is obsessing over this one seller who ripped her off.
Why would anyone bid on this type of auction?
The bidder seems like a pretty down to earth person based on the feedback he has.

It was a SALE stating in title and description how this buyer was ripped off by a particular seller in Germany. It went into detail, and it was a dirty matter.

This could be quite serious....and dangerous:
The seller of a handbag (who is from Germany) listed it as authentic and this person claims it's not (she had paid $800 for it) and eBay would not help her. So she decided to offer a REWARD of $500 to anyone living in Germany who would go to this person's residence (gave name and address) and get her money....
She ran it like an auction. With the seller's name (NOT SELLER'S ID) in the title as "XXXXX ripped me off for $800" or something similar.

I wouldn't even put that ugly bag on eBay, much less charge anyone $700 for it! Why was it so expensive, some sort of collectible?
Sure it could have been a counterfeit, but GET OVER IT, already.

I'm not into designer anything that cost more than $100 for a $2 item. And this seller would have had to give me $798 to take this ugly thing.
From the FB this person left, this (if authentic) would have been a great deal????
The German seller had said it was a gift and buyer was making terror.
Not bad since it was the only FB in English, I gather she sells mostly in Germany and her FB appeared in German except for this one.
The response was that since item was hard to find if it had been legit she would have left FB of the century.
The original ad for the bag had stated it was a gift from her boyfriend, but she didn't like this designer she preferred another designer so she was selling it and that it was 100% authentic.
Judging from her FB response, I think she probably knew it was NOT authentic since she was not disputing the buyers claim it was a fake. Her defense was "it was a gift" which I guess was suppose to "pardon" her mistake.
As to this person being unstable, I think anyone who would pay ridiculous amounts for something just to say they had one probably has at least "security" issues.....
Aside from the strangeness, I see a real problem here. This buyer purchased an item stated as authentic and it apparently wasn't, claims she tried to get eBay involved and they wouldn't so she was resorting to "terror tactics".
Does the Buyer's Protection Insurance not cover international?
What recourse does one have if defrauded internationally? Any?
I know buyer beware, but surely there is something that can be done is such cases?

I purchased a bunch of organizers for resale, and listed them in the Women's Clothing/Accessories/Organizers category. Just ordinary Day Timers, nothing fancy. There are tons of auctions advertising "authentic" Gucci, Louis Vittan, Kate Spade and other designer names. From just glancing at some of the ads, I get a strong impression (call it a hunch) that these items are acquired in mass quantity from overseas, like maybe Hong Kong.
Something about the auctions doesn't add up. I suppose for every buyer that knows they were ripped off, there are 99 who think they actually got a designer purse (or whatever) for 1/2-off wholesale.

The woman has 33 auctions running with the "shyster" title. Try this:
http://cgi6.ebay.com/aw-cgi/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewListedItems&userid=myoakstboutique&sort=3&page=2&rows=25&since=30
If this address doesn't work just do a seller search for "myoakstboutique" and click the "all" space. Amazing.

PERSONALLY I LIVE IN NYC I HAVE 2 OPTIIONS
1. I BEND OVER AND GO TO LV STORE ON 5TH AVE AND PAY $1000 FOR A BAG
2. I GO TO CHINA TOWN APPROX $10 CAB FARE FROM LV STORE IF YOU WANT TO BE ANAL AND PAY $70 FOR THE SAME BAG AND BELIEVE ME FROM A DISTANCE / PHOTO YOU CANNOT TELL THE DIFFERENCE.
I HAVE BEEN TEMPTED TO SELL THESE CHINESE FAKES ON EBAY BUT TOO HONEST I AM SURE LOTS OF OTHER PEOPLE DO AND INNOCENT PEOPLE LIKE THE ONE ABOVE GET RIPPED OFF.
HOWEVER I WOULD NEVER EVER BUY ANY BAG OFF EBAY FOR $800 SPECIALLY IF U NEVER SEEN IT IN PERSON BEFORE PARTING WITH THE CASH

Personally I don't get it. these bags look like my 4 year old granddaughter decorated them.
the shyster sales aren't showing up when i do a search now.
check out this buyers feedback though. there is another seller she bid and won a bag then wouldn't pay. she stated the seller was a thief that had ripped off another buyer. looks as though she bid just so she could leave the feedback. a one woman vigilante team from hell.
