Quick Question: If both parties agree to cancel a transaction and there is no ill will betweeen parties, can a FVF credit be requested without having to fill out a non-paying bidder alert form? If so, how? Thanks.
It is very important that the bidder not receive any crap from ebay or warnings etc.
I am not sweating bullets as the FVF was only on an $18 item, but if anyone knows an easy way to get my $1.00 back (I have a twenty minute
phone call I need to make), I would
appreciate it.

Hi,
I can't remember exactly if you have to wait or not, BUT, there is an option for you to choose which says it was a mutual agreement, and will not count against the other. I've had to do partial credits when I've done a partial refund. There wasn't a wait on those.

If you file a nonpaying bidder alert they will get the warning letter. The option to say both parties agreed doesn't come until ten days later.

You are mistaken. Re: 'mutual agreed not to complete transaction' is available after 7 days of auction close on the NPB. The FVF credit is immediate if this reason is used.

go through the motion of filing non payer alert and you will see one of the reasons in the pull down menu as mutual agreement not to complete the transaction,
