I just wanted to know if it is possible to confirm a po box with paypal? I am away from home during the day and don't want my mail delivered to my home address. As of right now, I only use Billpoint and money orders. I would use paypal more often if there was a way i could use my po box. Thank's in advance for your help.

Hi,
As far as I know, paypal will not send checks to a p.o. box #.
I would think that you will be better off to tie a bank account # to your paypal account.
This way you can transfer $$ out of your account direct to your bank account.
This works great no matter where you are.
Anyway this is all that I could find from paypals site. Best to ask for paypal damon.
" An address can become confirmed one of two ways:
1. When you add a credit card to your PayPal account, the address on file with your credit card company becomes Confirmed.
OR
2. You may confirm your address through Alternative Address Confirmation (AAC).
To qualify for AAC, you must meet the following requirements:
Be a Verified member of PayPal
Have been a PayPal member for more than 90 days
Have a Community Participation buyer number of more than 10
Be a U.S. member in good standing
If you qualify for AAC, you will need to fax several documents to PayPal, after which we will mail a secret code to address you are trying to Confirm. After you enter the secret code correctly into the PayPal website, your address will become Confirmed. For more information, please see our Terms of Use."

I'm not sure that I understand your question; if I don't I apologize.
My confirmed address (home--where my credit card bills go) is not my shipping address. A seller has never had any problem with that. Any experienced seller that uses Paypal understands that. If they don't, you can give them your biling address in an email and request they ship to other.
I usually work out shipping details in emails. Paypal needs to cover its butt I guess.
