People using the "ask seller a question" asking an obviously stupid question to entice you to email them back and it is for the purpose of harvesting your email address for spam purposes. I just ignore them but if one looks like it "might" be legit, I email them back using an extra hotmail address that I don't care about. I never had this happen until a few weeks ago and now it happens regularly.

most spam emails are automatically ignored,why bother?there is a easier way to harvest emails .
may be they are really out to collect credit card,paypal passwords,like sending you email to say a bonus is waiting for you at paypal site or undo a cc charge which was made in error on ebay etc.

There are a LOT of stupid buyers out there that ask stupid questions.
