I'm trying to send to an APO military address. I checked the US Navy website and the addy seems correct, but Endicia isn't liking it.

Anyone know how to get this to take?

I do not think you can. I always take mind to the PO. Since the PO does not actual deliver to the APO address I do not hink you can get address verification.

If the address does not come up on the find address....you are out of luck.

Got it! Thanks!

I was including the ship ID #. Using the Endicia guide, I entered the zip and it showed the ship name as a valid street address. I kept the ship name, but dropped the ID# and voila! Dial-A-Zip worked!

Thanks!

I just ran into this tonight with an APO..I want to use the PO free delivery confirmation,,and it won't take it, because I don't have a state to put in.

I couldn't do DC on mine -- but I just let it slide.

You can not even do DC on an APO address even if you take it to the PO.

Oh no, LOL..that means I paid for nothing the last time? Post Office person told me it would tell me it was delivered (I never checked), but wouldn't tell me where. It got to where it was going, so I never checked it. I kknew it went to a ship, because the person who ordered it told me to pack it well, in case they (literally) did a mail drop. But I paid for it!
We'll see what happens tomorrow when I try again in person.

Well, my PO will NOT let do DC. Be sure to post back here if your's does. It is amazing how different clerks and different PO do different things.

Looks like I paid for nothing last time. With the new machines, I was told today, it's impossible to give the delivery confirm's for an APO box. She did, however, have to go look it up, because she didn't understand why it wouldn't "take". We have one more PO in this area waiting for their upgrade, and then I guess we'll all get the same answers.

No Delivery Confirmation on First Class Mail or APO addresses. Custom slips are mandatory on APO addresses too.

OH CRAP!

I didn't know that. Now it'll get kicked back to me. (NO customs)
